here in the rise ballroom to see what sanders had to say. he spoke for about an hour. on his plans for a revolution- one that would put middle class and working families first. sanders has been advocating for health care for everyone, saying its a right not a privilege. he also promised a future that would use more renewable resources... improve voter turnout... and a plan that would make public colleges and universities free... backed by wall street speculation. he asked an energetic crowd here "the only way change takes place... is when millions of people stand up and say enough is enough. our government belongs to all of us, not just a handful of billionaires." sanders paused because of a medical episode in the crowd.

another example of why everyone needs healthcare. live at the nugget chris buckley kolo 8 news now. for the second time in less than a month... former president bill clinton was in reno today... campaigning for his wife. he arrived at hillary's reno campaign headquarters around 12-30 this afternoon. the former president spoke on campaign promises his wife has made... such as improving healthcare... and providing paid family leave... but the main topic of discussion was getting out the vote at tomorrow's caucus. "she is the single best change maker i have ever known, and that is what we need..." "hillary is her own woman. she is married to bill, but she is the one who is going to be president." "we're doing everything here we can to support her." "i was one of her delegates in 08 and i believe she is the strongest leader" clinton was only in town for a short amount of time.

went right back down to vegas... where he is expected to speak tonight along side his wife and daughter. after the republican primary in south carolina tomorrow... the g-o-p candidates will turn their focus on nevada. right now, all the candidates, except john kay-sick kasich, are planning trips to northern nevada. ben carson will be in virginia city monday. the republican candidate is holding a public town hall at piper's opera house at 9-30 in the morning. jeb bush has a town hall event planned for monday evening at huffaker elementary school. that gets started at six o'clock. ted cruz is holding a rally monday afternoon in elko. he will then be at the boys and girls club of truckee meadows in reno for a rally at seven o'clock. cruz also has rallies planned in fernley, minden and carson city, tuesday. marco rubio will be in elko for a rally monday morning, before heading to reno for a rally at the peppermill. that begins at 12:30. he will then be in minden for another rally monday afternoon. and donald trump will

president in the male gender i think we need to comply with it." so, he filed a lawsuit in washoe district court today seeking to have clinton excluded from the ballot. this could be taken as the mischief of a anti-feminist crank, but wallace says that's not who he is or what his aim is. wallace: "i think it's trashing the words of the founders to just slush over it and do what we want to do. admittedly we need to do it, but lets do it the proper way that the constitution provides for, an amendment." in fact, he says we had that chance in the equal rights amendment which he supported. it wasn't ratified and, he says, that's left work undone. ed pearce kolo 8 news now wallace raised the issue eight years ago, but it became moot-point when she suspended her candidacy. ### what would kids do to improve the city of reno? today city council members-- heard first- hand, from a group of 5th graders in a shark- tank-like event.

if you go to the democratic caucuses tomorrow, don't be surprised if you see 17- year-olds---- participating, in the process. the democrats allow it provided the 17 year old will be 18 by november election day. 17-year old jesse allison will be one of those at the caucuses tomorrow. he is a hillary clinton supporter, and has been making calls and canvassing on her behalf. he says his parents are politically active and he went to the caucuses with them in 2000-12. this year he says will be very different. jesse allison/17 year old: actually this is going to be really interesting. there are going to be a lot of people on bernie's side and a lot of people on hillary's side. and i'm really not sure which one is going to win. but i know whch side i'm going to be on." allison says he will turn 18 on july eleventh. we will follow him as he works through his

monday we will introduce you to a first time republican caucus goer-- who at this time is undecided. a group of socially conscious fifth graders are helping the reno city council, find great ideas for our future. these mount rose elementary students, were given an assignment to "re-think reno-- to make great things happen." they worked in groups-- to create a product, or service, that would improve the area. today, they presented their creations to the city council. teacher ana sanchez was behind the idea. she says she was amazed by some of the things the kids learned. "one of the highlights i have was i was telling a group of students to stand in line for lunch, and they told me ms sanchez we have a conference call with a web designer and we're waiting for another teacher to help us with that. " sanchez says she hopes to see some of these
